Many Clients and friends frequently ask about Ebola with great concern. This is reasonable given the recent outbreak in 2014 and the relocation of infected patients to various hospital facilities that brought the realization of this disease closer to home.
Dr. Andraes Marx wrote a recent letter in recognition of the serious viral infection that medical science worldwide has no answer; follows with this thought, "As much as the media spreads fear, we have to remind ourselves that panic and fear are the worst advisers.
Where did this outbreak occur? Peter Piot, who discovered the Ebola virus, pointed out that many of the West African states suffered decades through civil wars, staratin, polluted water, rare to non-medical services, and disastrous hygiene _ including hight rates of venereal diseases. Collectively, these threats suppress the immune system. We have learned for instance that the once believed erradicated Tuberculosis, tends to flare up during war time and starvation due to poor nutrition - malnourishment. Microbes need a favorable terrain to grow. Based on this understanding some German researchers stated that we would only see a limited outbreak in western countries. Because there is no current medicine abailable, a strong immune system is the answer." from the desk of Dr. Andreas Marx
We have shared the same information with many of you and wanted to share what Dr. Marx has summarized so well.
